As Chapter of Romania, we are proud to share our joint work within the Triple Helix Association through which we aim to spur the research & innovation capacity of Romania. The Triple Helix Association Chapter of Romania brings access to: a solid and outstanding scientific knowledge base on triple helix theoretical models for market-oriented innovation development and practices to develop effective triple helix interactions combined with an international reach (from 5 continents) for dissemination, promotion, peer learning and partnership development. The Triple Helix Association's activities range from the development and debate around top class scientific studies, by means of conferences, summits, and awards; the networking among both leading education & research institutions and stakeholders to foster a wide dissemination and uptake of the scientific findings by means of publications, academic journals and co-operation projects; the support in translating academic models into practical achievements by enhancing international exchange of scholars and the education and training of students, researchers and practitioners.

Social Innovation Expert

Mihai Lisetchi has extensive experience in the development of social economy organizations. He is deeply involved in the study and research of social entrepreneurship, social enterprise, social economy, sharing economy and social innovation concepts and practice. He is currently also leading research at the West University of Timisoara, Romania. In the past, he undertook an international fellowship in philanthropy at Johns Hopkins University, USA, served as Secretary of State at the Ministry for Public Consultation and Civil Dialogue (Romanian Government) shaping the NGO development agenda of Romania. He also provides expertise and coaching for numerous NGOs an adult training programmes, while coordinating his own NGO (Agency for the Information and Development of Nongovernmental Organizations). 


Environmental Sustainability  & Training Accreditation Expert

Dr Adrian Solomon currently serves various international appointments: Chairman, External Grants Committee (Triple Helix Association, Italy); Deputy Director (South East European Research Centre, Greece), Project manager (Advanced Resource Efficiency Centre, United Kingdom), Co-Founder of the World Bank Working Group on Law and Technology. He is an experienced researcher & manager with expertise in environmentally sustainable and resilient organizations and in managing R&D projects involving innovative solutions and technologies for organizational competitiveness and compliance (10+ years of experience). So far, he has successfully acquired 18 projects (H2020, Erasmus+, EUROPEAID, Tenders) amounting to more than 16.7 million Euros. He has served as keynote speaker and panel speaker in numerous international events. For the past 8 years, he has been directly involved in the acquisition, management and implementation of training projects at various levels: Youth Education, Vocational Education, Adult Education, Higher Education) and has substantial experience with EU qualification frameworks (NQF, EQUIS, ECTS, ECVET, ETF, DigComp, EntreComp, YOUTHPASS). He holds a PhD degree in Environmental Sustainability from the University of Sheffield (United Kingdom) as well as a BSc degree in Computer Science from the same university.
